College Choir still singing remotely in the rest of 2020
Fall 2020
In fall 2020, we were fortunate to have the space of Mead Memorial Chapel, in which we could sing distanced (12-15 feet) for the fall semester. We began in small groups, ten at a time, to observe health and safety measures regarding the COVID-19 epidemic. Our recordings from the fall will reveal a few of our desperate measures, including using earbuds and ultimately singing with more people in the room.

As we approach the newly-extended December break, we also approach a time of remote singing, until March 1. We will move online with a few projects including virtual productions to keep us engaged, and online rehearsal to prepare for March 1.
College Choir "sings remotely" in Spring 2020
March 16, 2020
We will be singing remotely for Spring 2020, as the college has shifted to remote teaching due to the impending spread of COVID-19. We hope to develop a web-based choral experience that can remind us of the community that we seem to have left, but that in fact does still exist for us if we reach out to each other.

Stay connected, singers! Watch blog posts for upcoming announcements and hopefully we will find a way to sing "together" in some respect, very soon.
