Back to Choir! Distanced, but persevering.

Get ready to get back to singing! We will be in a fairly different arrangement, including distancing and masks, and in small groups. But this may hold a new opportunity to enhance small ensemble musicianship skills, among other possible benefits. We will work towards a recorded choral project and watch party on November 1, and a Lessons and Carols project that will "air" in December.

We will gather online on September 9, as we can't hold the typical open rehearsal but we will begin singing immediately the next week, and there will likely be singing resources available online before that.

Auditions will take place online, probably after September 3.

Also, it has been such a wonderful time of Monday meetings with students and alumni this summer that we are going to continue those meetings in some form into the academic year. Projects and collaborations, meetings and activities forthcoming!

Be well and I look forward to seeing all of us together, in one mode or another, very soon.
