Successful and meaningful Choir Retreat

This past Saturday, College Choir had the opportunity to work at Wild Roots Farm in Bristol, Vermont. We got to plant trees, mulch, and pull weeds from the blueberry bushes. Choir is about community and we wanted to start the year off strong with getting to know each other, as well as the community that surrounds us. After all of that hard work and making lunch, we then sang from the hilltop looking over the work we had just accomplished. We sang American folk tunes, an Abenaki welcoming song, and some Classical pieces.
